I'm usually the first voice you'll hear when you reach out to our office, and I've learned that those initial conversations set the tone for everything that follows. After four years with Security Planning Advisors and previous experience at Westall, Gray & Connolly PA, I've developed a good sense for what people need when they call. Sometimes it's basic account information. Sometimes it's scheduling time with Dwayne. Often, it's just someone who'll listen and help them figure out the right next step.

My background in accounting comes from handling the books for my husband's multi-generational landscaping business, which gives me a practical understanding of how finances work for real people and real businesses. Every client walks in with different circumstances, different concerns, different goals. I find that fascinating. What works for one person might not make sense for another, and part of my role is helping Dwayne identify those unique needs from a tax perspective.

No two days look the same here, which keeps things interesting. One morning might involve coordinating client meetings and processing account updates. The next could include notary services or digging into the specific details of a client's situation. I like bringing organization to what can feel overwhelming for people. A warm approach and clear answers go a long way toward making someone feel comfortable asking the questions they need answered.

Outside the office, my time revolves around our seven grandchildren. They're my biggest hobby, though I do enjoy hiking and reading when I get the chance. I'm also involved with Man Cave Ministry, Ebeneezer Gospel Mission to India, and stay active at Brookstone Church here in Weaverville. Faith and family keep me grounded, and I think that perspective helps me connect with the people we serve.
